    Hosting and server log files

    This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit the site, technically necessary data is processed automatically, such as your IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, the referrer and browser and operating system details.

    This processing serves the secure and stable operation of the website and is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; standard contractual clauses are also in place.

    No cookies, no tracking

    This website itself sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking or marketing tools. Fonts are served locally from our server; there is no connection to Google or any other font provider. Only when you actively start a video is an external player loaded, which may set its own cookies (see “Embedded videos”).

    Contact form

    When you write to us via the contact form, we process the data you provide: name, email address, optionally company and phone number, the topics you selected and your message. We use this data solely to answer your enquiry and to prepare a possible proposal.

    The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and the performance of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, e.g. by email to info@aiai-caption.com.

    To deliver your enquiry by email, we use the service Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA) as a processor. Transfers to the USA are based on standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

    We keep your details for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and delete them afterwards, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

    Contact by email

    If you email us directly, we process your details to respond to your request on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.

    Embedded videos (Vimeo, Instagram)

    We embed our showcase videos using the Vimeo and Instagram players. The players only load once you start a video with a click; before that, no connection to these providers is made. When you click, technically necessary data such as your IP address, browser and device information and the page visited is transmitted to the respective provider, and the provider may use cookies or similar technologies.

    Vimeo: Vimeo.com, Inc., 330 West 34th Street, 10th Floor, New York, NY 10001, USA. We use the player with the “Do Not Track” parameter, which prevents Vimeo from collecting session data and analytics cookies. Vimeo is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.     Instagram: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland. Data may also be transferred to Meta Platforms, Inc. in the USA; Meta is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. If you are logged in to Instagram, Meta can link the visit to your account.     The legal basis is the consent you give by actively starting the video (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 165(3) TKG 2021). You can withdraw it at any time by not starting further videos and deleting the providers’ cookies in your browser.

    Links to social networks

    We only link to our Instagram profile. No social media plugins are embedded; data is only transmitted once you click the link and open the platform, where the respective provider’s privacy policy applies.

    SSL/TLS encryption

    For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” in your browser’s address bar.
